Craig and Melanie have known each other most of their lives. They grew up going to the same schools, in the same neighborhoods with the same groups of people. And not until recently at a high school reunion would they realize they are supposed to spend the rest of their lives together.
Craig and Melanie originally wanted to get married in Hawaii. When those plans had to change, I promised to bring Hawaii to their beautiful home in Poway, California. When we were finished transforming their home into a tropical paradise even I didn’t want to leave. 🙂
A slack key guitarist played during the ceremony while steel drums entertained the guests during the reception. Strung Orchids (that were actually flown in from Hawaii the day before) were hanging from every trellis while many other tropical flowers were placed around the home and yard.
Mai Tai’s were chosen as the signature drink and were served with the much needed colored paper umbrella, just to make everyone feel like they were in paradise. 🙂 They were a huge hit with everyone in attendance.
It was the perfect day with loving family and the best of friends. Finally Craig and Melanie got the Hawaiian Wedding that fate had always intended!
